Spot Light On Students

Acacia Academy students benefit from individualized evaluations, programs of personalized instruction, and course work designed to meet their personal learning styles and needs.

  • The ability to analyze the unknown word and therefore independence in word recognition, decoding/phonetics and encoding/spelling skills

  • The Literary Magazine comprised of student writings
  • The Yearbook construction
  • Dance Committee and the resulting semi-formal dinner dance
  • Multiple field trips and hands-on experiential learning
  • Earth Day planning and participation for the preparation of science and environmental studies
  • Study of patterns in nature and the importance of balanced planning and color for the Nature Center and campus landscaping
  • Daily movement which includes Brain Gym exercises, dance, and yoga
